little waster.

I suppose everyone's got stories to tell about World War2 as told to them by their parents, relations etc.The one in our family was of Uncle Jock {the little waster}who was in the RAF,and who was blown up in what they called "the big explosion"in 1944 down somewhere by a place called Burton upon Trent. That was the extent of their knowledgeabout the incident.Years went by until one day I was in a solicitors waiting room, picked up a magazine, and there in the middle spread, was the story of the explosion,it was stated as being the largest manmade explosion prior to the atom bomb, the full story, for anyone who is interested, can be accessed by doing a Google on "THE FAULD",it makes fascinating reading, and for myself laid to rest a family mystery.
