Just thought it was about time to say hello after being a member for quite some time and 'lurking' without making a contribution (sorry if that is considered impolite!)

My wife and I have fond memories of many holidays in Fethiye and Calis over a ten year period from 1992 onwards and although we are now regular visitors to Kas instead we do still enjoy the occasional visit to Fethiye.

I would like to say 'thank you' to other forum members who have given advice on many topics that has helped us whilst purchasing an apartment in Kas.

I have, at long last, been prompted to say something by the current thread on living permits. Please be gentle to a new boy!

Hi Nick, welcome to the forum, I've only been to Kas once, it looks a really nice place, but it seems a bit on the expensive side to live, but i suppose it keeps the riff raff out, like me, lol. Alan

Alan - well they let me in! Yes I suppose property prices are a bit on the high side compared with some other areas but I don't think general living costs are any higher, provided you don't go mad of course.
