After watching last nights offering from channel 4 about the lovely northern lasses and the shagathon holidays that had with there children in tow, I watched the BBC documentary- Jack- a soldiers story. It was a really moving story of a young British soldier fighting the Talaban in Afghanistan. I went from feeling embarrassed to be British to proud to be British in 24 hours. Not because he was fighting terrorism but he was just such an endearing character, especially when he was on tour. Really moving.
