my daughter wants to come on that flight to see us but as shes only 17 she might get stopped for flying on her own is there anyone that could meet her at checking that could accompany her  thanks:D

She is over 16, she should be able to travel on her own, some airlines allow you to if you are over 14, check it out with the airline!  All airlines are different, but I am more or less positive she will be ok to travel!

Most airlines won't allow under 18's to fly without an adult. I looked into this last year. If you can find someone who is willing to go through check in with her then she is home and dry. Best of luck.

My son flew to Tenerife when he was 17, he flew in July wasn't 18 til September!  Like I say ask the airline, they are the only people that can tell you what is what and rules and regs change all the time!

Which airline are you booked with, my friend flies out on the 26th with Thomas Cook - if the same company maybe you could change the date - costs £25.  Failing that turn up early and try to find someone in the queue who will help you!

There you go then, it is always better to ask those that know - don't listen to us lot who only have a vague idea!

thankyou for your advice i have checked with airline and they said 18 is there anyone flying on that flight that could accompany her through check in and customs
