Can you do a favour for a friend of mine?
« on: April 22, 2009, 07:19:26 AM »
I have a friend in Texas who is an absolute sweetie. Her hubby is in the military and she has 3 young children. What many of you probably don't know is that lots of US military personnel are really poorly paid - many so poorly paid that their families are eligible for food stamps.

Because she has 3 young children she can't go out to work, so she is adept at finding coupons etc. & brilliant at stretching the budget. She loves scrapbooking & designing things & she has designed a reuseable bag - very green! If she gets in the top 10 then she gets grocery vouchers - which would greatly help her.

Rachel was until a few days ago in the top 10 but suddenly some bags have thousands of votes & she's gone down to number 50.

Poor girl was pinning her hopes on winning a grocery voucher SO if any of you would like to help this lovely lady out by giving her bag a vote I'd really appreciate it on her behalf - as would she!
You can vote once daily here -

If you'd like to vote every day then she & I would be grateful. She really is a sweetheart & tries hard.
