what is the score with regards to changing a flight when the new one is actually cheaper than the one originally bought? We have friends who have booked to fly home with Thomas cook on Saturday 30th May. They paid approx £100 for that leg of the journey. They are now thinking of returning on the Tuesd 2nd June instead, and that particular flight is only £38!! I know there is a £20 charge for the admin, and they state that any increase in fare price must be paid, but in this case it is a substantial DECREASE. So I wondered if they would refund the difference?? probably wishful thinking.....but has anyone come across this, and if so what happened? cheers. (P.s. FTC not open to take queries today, hence why asking on here..)
