Roka still best restaurant in that end of Calis I think . Owners are fab and cannot do enough for you. Think for the "foodies" just ask them and they will make it hotter !! Best place ever for chill and ambience    Sue x

Might be a bit boring but would repeat most of the things said on this thread. Went tonight (Monday) and it was almost full. Excellent meal lovely atmosphere and nice staff. Definately one not to miss.

We went there with friends one night, great meal, proper fillet steaks,staff great, only thing was the wildlife at night time, not mozzies i may add, some kind of fly thing, no bites, and got my mate on the raki, not a pretty sight.

Went to Roka several times on our last visit in June.  Excellent meal every visit.  Lovely people as well.  Can't wait for 28th when we will be back.

I would like to say that a few weeks ago a group of 13 of us went to Roka. Whilst none of us could fault the meal the service was absolutely diabolical. They missed one of our friends order off completly so he ended up having to wait for his main meal long after we had all eaten ours. They didn't understand the concept of seperate bills so at the end we had to tell them what each of us had had, and then to add insult to injury they tried to say our bill was 40TL more than it really was. So although I agree the food is good, I cannot agree with the service. They can obviously only cope with small groups of diners, and lose it completely when faced with 4 or more people at a table.

Sorry to hear about your bad experience there
The place is a husband and wife team who normally run the place very well with a few staff but a table of that amount is a tall order for any place to cope with !!
I hope that you will try it again sometime and give them another chance - they deserve it - lovely people

Has anyone been to the Roka since it re-opened?

Been going to the roka restaurant for years its the place where the young lady died in a fire there some years ago nice place,nice people,a friend of mine used to sing in there at night on weekends.Well worth a visit opposite the sunday market.

It's been under new ownership since December. Haven't heard any feedback as yet....
