I'm going to the airport tomorrow night, i'm picking a friend up, her and her daughter are staying with me, another friend is driving the car that we ar picking them up in, are we going to get refused entry. Alan

A Turkish friend of mine dropped me off whilst driving an English plate car, Security pulled him over and took the drivers license away. He was allowed to drop me off, but had to go back to collect the drivers license and to see if he would receive a fine. He got his drivers license back and they said if he went to the garage and bought them tea and sugar they'd let him off ! So perhps have a supply of chai and sugar just in case.

I assume the recent activity is in tandem with Tursab (as it was last year or the year before when a Tursab official was also in the 'hut'). They are targeting unlicensed transfer vehicles, not private ones collecting friends and family.

Scunner's post is very useful to make people conscious about a kind of rip off . If people continiue feeding this kind of pirates, it will cause more other people to have this situation, and it will go on and on, which is bad for Turkey and the victims .
I agree Scunner, if that people made their searchs enough, they wouldnt have that situation . Most of them choosed that pirate companies, just because they are cheaper than legal, registered and tax paying companies .

Now I'm worried. we have rented an apartment and the transfers were sorted out by the lady who is renting it to us. She says it is Hamish McTurk. I've heard of them and I think they have an office in Calis main street but are they a legit transfer outfit ?

What happens if you have a friend who is resident and wants to pick you up or drop you off at the airport?
