I returned home last night, through Dalaman airport, to find they had removed all the tables and chairs on the right hand side of the ‘food court' (where the bars are). None of the bars appeared to be staffed apart from the coffee bar by the top of the escalator. As this is where we normally sit and eat our packed lunch and drink our drinks that we bought in Calis, I was a bit miffed.
I sat, on the other side, wondering what the thinking behind this was: have the bars become like any other business where if you don't sell anything you close down: or maybe the new plan is to sell an Efes for 4TL but only if you rent a chair for another 6TL ??
