Havas Bus from Dalaman

Has anyone ever caught the Havas bus from the Dalaman domestic airport terminal to Fethiye? If so was the trip ok and how do you know what times it leaves?

I have had a taxi from the airport to Dalaman bus station and caught a bus from there and that was ok.

The best way to check the timetable for the Havas bus is to phone or go into the THY offices in Fethiye.

Are the THY offices in the bus station?

There is a Havaş office in the Fethiye Otogar. It seems to be closed most of the time. There is a timetable in the window which shows times from Fethiye to Dalaman.

Not sure if it shows the timetable from Dalaman to Fethiye.

No, the THY offices are immediately opposite Carrefour in the centre of Fethiye.

so where do you get the bus at the airport and are they regular?

I think that you can catch a Havas bus from the domestic terminal, (the old airport next to the International Airport) in Dalaman. I am trying to find out more about it.

When I tried to travel by bus before I had to catch it from Dalaman town itself and this meant a taxi ride to get from the airport into Dalaman itself (26 lira) and the bus from Dalaman was 18lira.

The local bus from Fethiye to Dalaman Town is 7TL and a taxi in Jan was 22TL fron Town to Airport

The Havas service (and timetable) is fairly simple.  Two buses meet incoming THY domestic flights and go Fethiye and Marmaris.  

From Fethiye, they leave two and a half hours before departure time (of a THY domestic flight) from the Otogar (they used to go to/from Karagozler but dont any more).

If, as in the past, Onur, Atlas, Pegasus etc do summer services to Dalaman then they usually meet those flights too.

They only leave from/drop off at the domestic terminal and to Fethiye, and 20TL per person sounds about right.
