I don't want to build anyone's hopes up but we recently got back from two weeks in Koca Calis and Calis and out of 4 of us not one bite!!!!

This is a first for us and the mozzies were conspicuous by their absence:D

Long may it last :)

Perhaps the vans which drive around spraying the area at night have actually got the ingredients right this season [^]

They must all have headed Mrs H's way Stoop because she had more bites than in almost any previous years. No accounting for taste is there ;)

Very very few in Koca Calis this June. I know we get our site sprayed every night but this has always been the case.

I heard something about some tablets that had been put down to attract them away - maybe Mrs H picked one up by mistake ;-)

The only time I got bitten this trip was the night we ate in the fishmarket.

The mozzies did not bother us that much this time as we had lots of Avon Skin So Soft and also were taking Vitamin B however, I got the most awful bite on my the side of my foot that appeared as a  black lump and made my foot swell up. I bought some penicillin tablets and that seemed to cure it.  A local English lady was telling me she had not seen anything like it, but thought it could be a spider  bite!!  she said the jumping spiders often bite her.  Obviously, the spiders like Avon products.

The other things that bite are the horse flies. You don't see many but they can land you a cracker if you let them.
