Sands Beach Bar - Koca Calis

Max has done a great job here. Not only does the place look great his staff are also friendly and attentive.

He's spent a lot of dosh on furniture and fittings and also is the only place in Koca that has Sky Sports!! Roll on the World Cup 2010!

If you are up that way - it's next to what used to be Suat 1881 and is now Mutlu's. Just before the Birlik if you are walking from Calis.

Also lovely sunbeds and a nice mat into the sea ;-)

Wow. We watched them slogging their guts out when we were out in May. We walked to Koca each day and remarked at their determination to get it completed. Looks lovely

They certainly were working hard right up to the last minute. We had a couple of good nights there before we came home.

You can also have a free drink IF you can beat the barman at arm wrestling. Be warned he looks small from the other side of the bar but is built like Popeye. I offered to take him on left handed but he declined - the wimp:D

I didn't say they did ;) It will still be good to be able to walk for 10 mins instead of going down to Calis Beach to watch it - even on BBC or ITV:D

Well I know where we will be going next we're out, and of course don't forget you probably have the best host on the the Calis resort front, also Max does a mean line in cocktails, which I would highly recommend.  Its well worth the effort to walk down from Calis (turn right at the sea and just keep going for approx 20 mins after the end of the prom).  AND its not 4 lira an EFES either.
