We are in the Mozaic Bahce at this very minute. Just had the Meze. Chris doesn't like Olives, but just ate some; must be the way they did them. Loved it. Waiting for the "Special". Will report further.

Four of us ate at the restaurant in July unfortunatley we did not enjoy our meals. What we were served didnt resemble the picture on the menu. We did enquire and were told that it was correct but just served differently.

This is just my experience and I wish them all the best.

The special was terrific. Something I've never tasted before but will again if I can remember what it was called. Well worth going back & trying some more items from here.
One downpoint was something that Nichola has no control over; Chris was bitten for the first time this holiday.

my hubby & I went to the mozaic bahce nice turkish food had to much couldn't finish my mains . I was asked if i like it, i replied yes .
nice quiet spot. we were offered a apple tea we declined as we wre so full

When we went I had the hot pepper bread or something like that. You better eat it quickly because if you don't it turns into a rubber-like compound. That isn't a criticism, it is gorgeous. Just eat it quickly

I had the spicy chicken wings and they were lovely. A nice little restaurant with frindly staff. Just after we left there, we bumped into a crowd of people searching for this place - hubby kindly took them in the right direction, and they told him they had read about it on the Calis Beach Forum! Don't know who they were, but hope they enjoyed their meals as much as we did.

Continued thanks to everyone who has left comments on this thread, we appreciate it and do take on board all comments.

Connor, we share the same surname, you're not an oggie as well are you?

I had a word with Dogan and he's promised anyone caught biting the customers will be in serious trouble! Seriously though I did check that we still continue to spray to minimize unwanted bugs and things, we do so poor Chris was a bit unlucky that night. Glad you enjoyed your meal though and discovered an olives dish you like.

Oh and the special is called the errrrr Mozaik Special; hope you enjoy it as much the next time around. We adopted what is actually called â€˜Tepsi (tray) kebap' as the Mozaik Special.

My favourite place to eat this is in Antakya where the butcher (literally at a butchers shop) mixes up the meat with the herbs and spices and then upstairs they have a few tables and chairs and serve a double portion for two in a large round tray and you eat it using the bread that's served with it - no knives and forks.

We originally planned to serve it that way too and that leads on nicely to my next update.

A few weeks after we opened we stopped using the big oven (cost about 100TL a day to run) and had to serve as single portions even when 2 people ordered it. That's why the now defunct picture on the menu looked so big. It also now comes with a side salad as well as the bread.

Anyway, following on from Foosey's comments I have redone the photos for the menu over the last week or so where they no longer represented what we were serving.

The new menus with new photos have been printed and have been in use for a few days now.

We have also added a map to the small take away menu which may help first timers find it a little more easily. We give these to customers to â€˜take away' with them if they want to.

Anyway, I don't think I have forgotten anything so I'll say bye for now and when the season is over I look forward to having the time to spend there myself meeting some of you I have as yet only met on this thread.

I'll be the one looking like a lost soul unless the dishwasher takes a sickie and then I'll be relegated to washing the dishes and not for the first time!

I'm not sure what an "Oggie" is, but I don't think I am one. Our surname comes from "Cheap-man" (cheap in price but not quality) a kind of itinerant tinker. Basically a travelling salesman. our relatives must have got about a bit in the past.
Chris is going back over in October and will call in to sample more of your culinary wares. If she can't pay, I hope you've got some rubber gloves.

Hi Connor, an oggie is someone from Cornwall! There are a lot of Chapmans there.

Interesting what you say about the origins of the name Chapman. Seems like me and my family are keeping the tradition alive, we all sell quality items at reasonable prices apart from my brother who sells cheap party tat at cheap prices in Basingstoke. No offence to my bro intended, people love it!

Just to let you know that this Sunday 20th Sept is the first day of Bayram so this Sunday only we will be closed all day and in the evening as well.

This is so the staff can spend the day with their family
