When was CBF setup , who were the first few members (except scunner)
and how many members do we currently have ?? just curious

Click on the Members tab - that will tell you

Number of members is at the bottom of the main menu page under statistics.

Me on my own for 6 months

No not really, first members still present and actively posting were/are Legless, Stoop, Rimms, Crabbit, Jenny, all joined within first 48 hours.

Members now, 5725

I think I'd met them all prior to the forum, maybe not Stoop. I had to wait a little longer for that pleasure.

This is mildly interesting - in the first week we went up to 47 members, then nobody at all joined for over a week. I'm not even sure I realised that

Just out of interest - when was the busiest week for people to join? And why do you think that was?

One other thing, what is the highest number of people online on cbf at the same time (the old set-up used to show this, and was very interesting. I was really fed up cos the busiest evening was a night when I was on my way home from Calis!!)

Scunner and I had never met but had spoken via another forum if I remember correctly. After 6 years I met Legless for the first time last month - and he is my next door neighbour in Turkey!!

Seems like yesterday it was all set up
