My friends have just returned from Fethiye and they were caught in the chaos of the crash, bodies everywhere they said.

They also said that they stopped in a garage up the road to collect their thoughts about what they had seen and right in front of them a British tourist had his legs crushed when a 4x4 reversed over him.

Im glad you are both back and on the mend.
I take it the other girl with the head injury is still in hospital over there?
How is she are her injuries serious or will she be out soon?
Fletch I didn't hear about this although I did wonder where the 7th injury came from in the paper.

Yes, they told us that the car was split in half and people were laying in the road but I know little of the guy in the garage area, they did say he was British and that it was a nasty accident.

They are now in Paris so I will have to wait until they return to know more.

Hi. I was the one with the head injury invovled in the accident (a title i'd rather not have!). I'm ok thanks, I am home now and sorting out the problems with my neck and vision, But the stitches are out my head and i am onthe mend. It was my mum who unfortunately had to remain in Turkey due to internal injuries but is also on the mend and hopefully flying home today. Thanks again to Ken who i believed helped my family, also thanks to the two British ladies and others who were helping me and mum on the road side, it's abit of a blur but many thanks.

The guy with the leg injury was in hospital with my auntie and uncle and as far as we know flew home as planned but we don't know how he is but wish him a speedy recovery too.
