Official: 7 Britons injured in Turkish accident
A Turkish official says seven British tourists and two Turks were slightly injured in a traffic accident in southern Turkey.
The paramilitary official says the tourists fell off a jeep when a car hit their vehicle from behind near the Mediterranean resort town of Fethiye on Monday. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

He says the tourists and two Turkish drivers only suffered minor injuries and were released from a local hospital. He did not elaborate.

Fethiye is a favorite destination for British tourists who sometimes take safari tours to see archaeological and natural spots of interests.

Happens every year. Last two years people have been killed. It never ceases to amaze me when driving in from Antalya road and you pass the jeep safaris the number of kids standing up and holding onto rollbars with parents not bothered. People would not do it in the UK so why in Turkey?
