Has the world gone completely mad ?  Can't believe the news this morning that they are going to release the guy on compassionate grounds (he has cancer).  Apparently he has served two weeks for each of his victims (270 ?).   I'll peel his bloody grapes for him if he likes....[:(!][:(!]

Gone is the idea that scum will rot in jail.

It seems to be quite common for them to be released if they have less than three months to live.

I think the sentence should reflect the crime. Now, did his victim's families have the opportunity to be with their loved ones when THEY died?

I hope they fly him home in a Hercules and just circle over Lockerbie a few times with the tailgate down, Ooops!

Or drop him from 35,000 feet in the air strapped in to an airline seat without warning,left to die slowly after impact.

Breaking news.The US have just said they were not informed of U K plans to release him and are demanding that "he serve out his full sentence".
