Hi dymond, welcome to the forum, Surf Cafe is up Koca Calis end, and people get the dolmus to use the beach there. Alan

Nazar is just up the road from our place.

You are 5 -6 mins walk from the beach and a few restaurants and bars. Try the Birlik - the kids will love the pizzas there. Sands Bar on the beach is excellent and Max is a great host. Ask him to show your kids some of his magic  :) He is a memebr of CBF.

Mutlu is also nice for a meal and the Surf Cafe is a great place for the kids to hire canoes etc and you can relax with a drink on your sunbed.

The walk into Calis is about 40 mins and can be really hard if its hot. Nice walk in the evening but I would get a taxi home - costs about 12ytl I think.

If you like the beach then all the restaurants in Koca Calis will give you free sunbeds if you drink/eat there. There's always a nice breeze so make sure you lotion up. It can be deceiving  :)

Safe? Yes the area is very safe in our opinion but take precautions as you would in any country.

Have a great time.

Welcome Dymond. I hope you have a great time. You never know you may catch the Calis bug like so many of us on here.
