This is a Mark Hughes management trait, he did the same at Blackburn,
if he thinks he can kick his way to the top he's going to have to think again.

Having watched the stamping incident a dozen or so times now I seriously cannot see how he can defend himself. He had to move unnaturally in order to ensure he made contact!!

Running the length of the pitch to encite the opposition fans is just stupid. Mark Hughes must be thinking his start strikers thoughts are still on matters at Arsenal and not Man City. I would be livid.

Adebayor's temperament was questionable at Arsenal but now he has shown what a poor professional he really is.

He should get a three match ban for each incident in my opinion.

Tinx - I am usually very agreeable but I think that's a bit unfair.
:-\

Hughes did start like you say at Blackburn - but after much deserved criticism he then started to play some really good football with Tugay in the middle and McCarthy and Santa Cruz up front they played some really good stuff - I went to see them 3 or 4 times at that time.

As regards Adebayor he deserves what he gets - but I don't think for a second he did what he did because of Hughes - he was settling an old score that was brought to the forefront of his mind due to some rough treatment from Arsenal.

Oh and by the way - Van Persie is not a Saint!!!  ;)
