Check your flight times for last week in October

British summer time ends one week before the summer season flights so for summer flights after 23/10 they will appear an hour earlier than originally booked but this is because it will be GMT.

Oh that has thrown me! We fly on 25th October at 11.15 am. I think this may be the Sunday morning after the clocks have gone back so what time will I be flying at (sorry I know it will still be 11.15!) but will I need to be at the airport an hour earlier then what I had planned? Help someone please I am really confused.

I think going out from the UK wont be a problem - we all operate to GMT anyway (as long as you remember to alter your clocks on the correct day!)  

Now, coming back may be a problem, depending on when you arrive/depart!  We almost got caught out last year when we didn't realise that the clocks changed in Turkey as well!

The only times that you have to be careful of are those departing between about 1am and 3am on the Sunday morning.

The schedules will have been prepared well in advance and will have allowed for the time change.

Yes surely if we change our clock before bed and then get to the airport at normal check in time everything should be ok shouldn't it?

Flight companies require you to call a local number in Turkey 48 hours before you are due to fly to re-confirm your return flight times, so there will not be a problem as they will give you precise instructions.

flight times are surely the same what ever time they are...0200 whether here in Turkiye or UK is still the same..the clocks change not the departure time.
