Favourite Lokantas?

Away from the tourist restaurants there is a very warm feeling to be had in enjoying a wholesome, tasty meal for a couple of quid at a traditional Turkish lokanta.Nothing like pointing at different dishes through the glass to order a bit of several to find out which you like  :)

We were/are big fans of the Olu Deniz Lokantasi. Anyone have other recommendations?

Mr Scunner, I have been diligently searching for the Twat Lokantasi that you mentioned in a thread some time ago, without success.

Hahaha I remember that well Bud, near the Berk restaurant as I recall?

Should also have mentioned the Megri Lokantasi myself, always lovely food, especially their Iskender kebap, nice staff and perfect for people watching. Or as I call it, taking the p***.

We always go to one in Fethiye that used to be called the Bazim by the fish market. Its changed its name now but we have never had a duff of expensive lunch in there. Can't remember its new name though i'm afraid.
