Fiona, you put a post on a few minutes ago (which, for some reason you deleted??) saying the burglars had been arrested the same day as the burglary behind the petrol station. That lady was done on Monday so has there been another burglary since then? If so, any details where etc?

Thanks so much to Dinger and Corbindallas for fronting the meeting today. I fully appreciate it wasn't an easy meeting, such an emotive subject. I thought they did very well. I hope the sheer quantity of people attending and the intensity of feeling has made an impression on the Jandarma and Baskan. I now feel this is something that has motion and force, we are now united and I look forward in hope that we will make positive progress.

Dinger and Corbindallas (Glenda & Andrew) would like to thank everyone for their support at the meeting today, the turnout was tremendous. Hopefully we put the wheels in motion for achieving a positive outcome.

Well done and thank you Glenda and Andrew for the meeting yesterday you both must have been pleased with the turn out. You definetely had your work cut but you handled it well even if the Jandarma were a little unco-operative. Perhaps they can now see that the people in the village are not happy with the whole situation. Like rindalloo says we are all united and look forward to positive progress on the matter.

There has been another burglary in Ovacik.Please beware it appears that the burglars caught in Ovacik last week were only part of a gang. This is the opinion of the Olu Deniz Jandarma. They are questioning the 3 that they caught and are offering a lighter stretch in prison for the names of the other gang members.[/b]
