£10 visa for 90 days!! Yippee!!

the residency is not 918tl for 1 yr its 647.65 tl check it on the turkish website you will see for yourself... http://yabancilar.iem.gov.tr/harc.gif

It wont be long before the Turks put the prices up of 90 day 3months visa ,why dont all the people just do these trips to save paying all these high priced residency charges.
No good keep moaning about it .

Jannie, Thats the normal Harc for other countries. UK and Holland have their own rate as do the German etc.

From what I understand the govt web sites still have out of date info.

I wouldn't have posted these rates if I hadn't had them confirmed on FT web site they are very thorough.

Tourist visa of tenner remains unchanged.

I couldn't find confirmation of what I heard about changes for the Meis visa for those that live here so I didn't write anything - didn't want to just repeat rumours ...

And yes it appears that these visa changes have been agreed with British govt.

Bear in mind Turkish people can't just come on holiday to the UK like we can to Turkey.

Did mine 3 weeks ago and it was 888ytl. it is 370 pound so it varies to whatever the exchange rate is on the day.

Instead of moaning about the cost of the residency,why can't people who actually live here full time take a more positive outlook,and take into account the money they do'nt have to shell out by living in Turkey.
Council tax springs to mind, TV licenses,second mortgage to get your car repaired,etc,etc.
I'me quite happy paying the money out. I'me living in a country that up to a point has'nt gone PC barmy,I'me not tracked by cameras everywhere I walk or drive,I'me not housebound by snow,I eat fresh fruit and veg for pennies,the sun shines 90% of the time,need I carry on.?

Forget the second mortgage to get your car repaired, what about the lack of a first mortgage to pay every month?
