Ytokgoz, with respect

Firstly I think that alot of the problem here is in "translation". When I read your posts I took them to be "light-hearted" ("funny")
I think that's very difficult in a foreign language (I hope that is the case).

The greatness of our country is that we allow people to come here and openly criticise it. But don't expect, for a one minute, us not to defend our wonderful country to the absolute hilt.

I hope this doesn't sound rude, but I do not need you or anyone else to critise my country for my to be a nationalist, because I know  that my country is the finest in the world, bar none.

either it is lost in translation yet again or you have just ruined an apology, this is the type of reply I would expect from my husband!

It's an apology, in formal terms. I didn't translate anything, it's meant as a formal version of an apology. Can we move on now..?

Yusuf

If I had to pick just one thing we love about your country, it would probably be the people.

If you had to pick one thing about our country, what would it be.

PS I don't like raki at all:(
