is crime REALLY that bad in uzumlu?

hi, we are looking to move to uzumlu, VERY soon.
i'm alittle concerned by the messages on here, regarding break ins.
it wont put us off, because we love the area.
but would like to know, so we can help to eliminate the problem as much as is possible.
my husband and i intend to go to the meeting, regarding the thefts in the area.
we will do anything that is required to support the community.

It's been a bigger problem this year Jackie and we hope that the meeting will try and make a postive contribution to combat that.

If, when you buy a home here, you take all the right decisions about your homes security I'm sure everything will be ok for you.

If you need any help on what you should have fitted then please contact us or introduce yourself at the meeting.

We were broken into 3 weeks after moving here in 2007 and it gave us the kick we needed to secure our home and we have not had any problems since (touch wood)

No one can be complacant any where in the world, Ovacik, Calis and other areas have the same problems but I suppose because we are a smaller village it appears to be worse.
