A terpsicorian  delight there Alan.
Any one remember The running, Jumping, Standing still film which had Spike milligan
placing a 78 rmp record on a tree stump and running round it with a hand held stylus on the disc
very funny, have been trying to find the clip on U tube but to no avail

Stoop listened to Jamie Rae what a lovely voice and good songs a talented lady,I also looked up Jerry Cherry and he can play !Scunner I thinkIm with you about the feel of vinyl,it was also about saving up for an album looking forward to reading all of the sleeve notes, sometimes a lyric sheet or booklet and then the fantastic artwork. All of tis before you listened to music as it was meant to be.Dont get me wrong I like lots of newstuff which has been recorded for the digitla age which sounds just as right on CD or MP3 so I suppose everything has its time.Today "Country and City Blues" from 1931 - 1947 ,Big Bill Broonzy,Big Joe Williams,,Judge Riley,Tampa Red,Washboards Sam,Sleepy John Estes. The music is great and the names just as good !

Cheers Steve - I'll pass your kind words on to her. The voice did it for me when I heard her singing at Ellen's Stardust Diner in NYC about 3 years ago. Lovely girl. It's the first time I've seen her sing with that line up - however Jerry did play when she was backing Chubby Checker a few months back. Yes he can play a little.
