I had a similar experience recently Steve, I purchased an old Proton for the princely sum of £100(!) and I now have a tape player in my car!  I dug out all my old tapes and absolutely love going out driving now.  Have just worked my way through the best of Blondie, my Two Tone collection, all my 80's music and having a great time!

Here's a couple more Steve - first Jamie Rae from 2007 (seems like yesterday to me) with her first ever video:

Next a young lady I found through Jamie - Lucy Woodward. Tight band and wonderful live performer:

LOL - down boy - I saw her first.

If you really want a looker then check this one out - pure pop and no apology but she's a babe and a lovely girl to boot - got all her albums:

I have an original 1928 recording of Oh Didn't He Ramble by Jelly Roll Morton which I bought many years ago for the princely sum of 1d.

It has the immortal opening lines "Ashes to ashes , dust to dust , if the women don't get you the liquor must "

They don't write em like that any more.:D

Delving into the eighties will bring you to Stevie Ray Vaughan
