They'll hear him in Hisaronu :D

Bearing in mind the numbers who turn up to see Dennis week in week out, he must be doing something right  :)

Yes, he isn't appearing at dozens of bars and restaurants every night!

This is aimed at (Steve A) funny how some folks on here have took the p-ss out of Denis, i wish everyone whos read this debate about Denis would leave a comment if they know him, rather than just reading it and not replying, it chuffs me off (im being polite)spelling it like that, but thats how i feel after folks have took the p-ss hes been a mate of mine in Plymouth uk and here for god knows how many years, hes a big fella with a big heart how come no ones mentioned all the charity gigs for (free) Denis and his daughter Lisa have done to raise money,i know hes been reading this lot on here wonder what he will say when someone comes calling for a charity gig ?.

Exactly woody, well said. I like people who walk around with a smile on their face whenever you see them, and Dennis is one of those. I'm not a fan of the type of songs Dennis sings but he's a good guy and certainly wouldn't be on here slagging people off like is happening to him.

Once again i totally agree with you woody, great fellow and you could not meet a nicer chap, as for his charity work, you and i now it has cost him money in the past, when he has turned down paid work because he has made a promise to do a free night for a good cause,he is just one of the good guys you have the privledge to meet in life.

Its only a bit of light hearted banter, nobody is saying that he's not a good guy just that his singing isnt everybodys cup of tea, it would be boring if we all liked the same thing!

Remember seeing Dennis and his daughter singing at Cafe Soul last year.  Not our cup of tea I'm afraid but we just walked past and went somewhere else. Simple really!  However the place was packed so plenty of people must enjoy his style of singing!  Good luck to him and his fans, plenty of room for everyone!

I for one make a point of going to see Dennis & possibly Lisa sing every time I'm over. I may be a geriatric but they both give 100% in their performances & we've not had a bad night yet!
