Unauthorised amount debitted from card

On the 20th January Thomascookairlines in Manchester debitted £13.00 from my card without authorisation from me.  I flew with them in December but not from Manchester .  It may be a scam, have contacted my bank to dispute it, but may be worth while checking your accounts for unauthorised payments.

Just in case it helps, I saw a transaction from them on my statement which surprised me as I hadn't flown with them at that time for ages. I got stung for a bit of excess baggage which I paid using my card, but it happened MONTHS before it appeared on the statement.

Thanks for that Scunner.  I was charged for 2kgs excess baggage but was charged £10 per kilo.  Also, flew from Gatwick not Manchester (?)

Further to above, have checked with my bank and it relates to duty free which was bought on board on the 28th Dec!  Also showed as possibly purchased in Taiwan.  Weird!

Happened to me last year.  I had £285.00 taken out by Virgin Media even though I don't have an account with them, then another £20 for a phone card with BT.  I contacted my bank and they repaid me the money, issued me with a new card and it was put down to fraud.  Now I check my statement thoroughly just in case!
