Flights for 17 Year Olds Travelling Alone

Am trying to book for my son and 2 friends, but I seem to run into problems booking online because they are not 18.

I did find some flights with TC that came in at around £280, but I can't book them online. If I go into Thomas Cook branch the best they can do the same flights for is £350!!!

Can anyone  tell me what airlines will accept bookings online for 17 year olds - I tried to check the websites last night, but a lot wouldn't give any info.

For info they are travelling in the peak season summer hols, hence the price.

Any help would be great - thank you!

My daughter is now 15 and has been flying on her own to Dalaman for a year now.  She can fly with Turkish airlines, Cyprus Turkish airlines and  Jet 2.  Cant find anymore myself, she has flown with easyjet but they have changed it to 16 i think so you maybe lucky with them.

hi Loubs   -  the girls are flying out this summer - 16 and 17 year olds, with easyjet from Stansted.  no problems at all...
