Liquids on flights
« on: February 06, 2010, 11:54:13 AM »
Hi
If anyone has recently flown out from Dalaman were you allowed to take water onto the flight?
I flew from Antalya in November and I wasn't able to take my airport bought water on to the flight, just wondering if they have also made these changes in Dalaman

It's the same at Dalaman, 2 weeks ago, water was being taken from folk at the departure gate scan

But not so bad if you can take liquids into the departure lounge, so avoiding the high charges at the airport.
Just as I read it, you cannot take liquids onto the plane itself?

The only way round it, as far as I could see, was if you bought the water at the kiosk within the departure area ie after you'd passed through the scanner.

Thomas Cook charged me £1.60 in December and it took me 1hr to get it,that is going to be a pain in the hot summer months waiting to get served on the flight but I am not paying 5 or 6 lira at Dalaman for a bottle out of principle!
