Hi all!  happy new year :D

Well done NB, a friend of mine put over a stone on over xmas! it doesnt hurt to let your hair down every once in a while, and it was christmas  ;)
i've been away for a while because i decided to have a break and start again in the new year. i jumped on the scales this morning to see how much damage i've done since falling off the wagon. i was so suprised that i checked 5 times! i've not undone all my hard work and have infact LOST weight :DI dont know how because i've had countless pizza's and my fair share of cider and wine over christmas!! my first goal was to get to the weight i was before having both of my children.. thats now only 1lb away!:D so i've got until our wedding 6th september to lose 17lb...
BRING IT ON!! ;)

Here's to a happy, healthy 2011! :) xx

Hi all Happy New, Healthy and Slimmer New Year!

I think you have both made really realistic targets they are both more than achieveable.  NB cant think off the top of my head how many weeks until June but your target isn't even a 1lb a week so that allows for a few good nights out.  So it goes without saying 17lbs by 6 September is really easy.

I am not going back to SW until next Friday put on 3lb over Xmas helped by the fact hubby had man flu so we didn't drink quiet as much wine as normal so hopefully by next week should be back to target.

Keep up the good work x

Billeigh-Jo well done that is brilliant! WOW well done you, you will make targetx Villajadore, your right it is realistic but its not 6th September its 7th June so a couple of months beforehand but its still realistic, the thing is I get to almost target and cant get those last couple of lbs off so im hoping this year I can! what with me jogging now and doing Zumba along with my walking everyday hopefully it will all help. 3lb on Villa is great well done you! At our class last week no one lost, so I didnt feel so bad! ha ha good luck this week all. Im being weighed today (usually tuesdays but im off work tomorrow so cant make the lunchtime class) so im dreading it. will let you know how I get on. x

Hi NB you are right that does seem a lot on when you have been on the plan all week even with different scales but there is no accounting for the ways of a woman's body. You just need to know the diet does work in the end and stick to it.  I always find it really hard to stick to the diet in January - Turkey in May seems forever away but I know its not worth giving in as what goes on must come off and it is always harder to take off than put on!  Have a great week. x

Yeah your right hun, I know the diet works, and when i think back, I was exactly the same in January last year! I find it takes me all of Jan to get back into it properly and then feb im on the plan 100% Your right I have Turkey in June to aim for! PMA (Positive mental attitude!) ha ha have a good weekend all xx

Hello again all, haven't posted for ages due to illness and other stuff.  Still 6lbs over target but trying to remotivate myself.  Well done Billeigh-Jo, you're doing great.  NuttyBird, I think exercise is the key for me too and I haven't been to the gym since November.  I'm going back again tomorrow morning (before work!) and hopefully the hard work will make me think twice before I eat all the pies LOL - good luck everyone this week xx

I admitted defeat and joined Slimming World last Thursday. Big step for me coz I've failed so many times before. Target is for a wedding in Buckinghamshire at end of April.

HI BB, welcome back, hope your ok now? Good luck with it getting back on the plan x Welcome Toky, once you get into SW you will love it, even if youve done it before and failed, SW has changed alot and I love Extra Easy, purely because you can eat sooo much! ive struggled this Jan with getting back on the plan but am back on it now and back jogging and walking so feeling much better. Didnt weigh in this week girls as was over in Holland on business, so next weigh in for me is next tuesday! good luck all and remember PMA (positive mental attitude) and just think of your goals and how great you will feel when you reach that target :0) xxxx

I,m on SW too. I joined the week before last and lost 3lb first week, made a few mistakes and only lost a 1/2lb this week, but hey it's in the right direction. I have joined lots of times before. The most I have lost is 1 stone 4lb. I cant believe I have put it back on. I am doing EE at the moment, and I am going to add exercise aswell this week.
Good Luck
Bernie
