brilliant cock up from Tesco

Ok fellow HUKD'ers, I've sat on this one all day. Firstly to prove to myself it is an actual price glitch, secondly to take full advantage of it, and thirdly to wait until the weekend starts and the mighty muscle of Tesco are all at home for the weekend and won't be in to rectify this glitch until Monday.......

So, points one and two being proven as I've well and truly filled my boots with cheese, (see attached photo's of receipts)........ it's up to you individuals to now take advantage.....

Here's the glitch. Tesco currently have both white and red Seriously strong cheddar on BOGOFF, but for every two white you buy WITH every two red, not only does the BOGOFF get deducted at the till, but another 50% of the value of the BOGOFF comes off also, effectively making the deal a buy one, get THREE free......
enjoy its one of my fav cheeses

Ha ha
Ron :)

Thanks I have posted to Facebook profile to spread the word.

If you are in Fethiye the I have found the best really really strong chedder cheese (not processed and elasticy) can be found at the Sturday market in the van next to the really long fruit and veg stall by the roadside entrance. No problem to test them out all out either until yu find one you like.

I paid 10TL for 700gms.

It is made here possibly locally. But...

It tastes like and has the texture of real Cheddar cheese. They have quite a few to choose from and they are delicious and if you like really strong Cheddar you will definitely find one to your taste.

I have also found cheeses that taste like other cheeses too like for example Danish Blue and Stilton at the at the top vegetable entrance to the fish market if that makes sense. As you go in this little old guy is on your left.

Just say lezzetebilirmiyum - can I taste.

Have fun trying - Afiyet olsun!  :)

The best one I found was Ak Göl.  Unfortunately, we have only found it is Anadolu, which is next to Bim on the road that runs past Göksular  (B&Q).  And they don't do it any more.  So, if anyone finds this cheese elsewhere, PLEASE let me know  :)

I go there for my village butter - comes from Trabzon or Malatya and maybe somewhere else too. You can buy the butter with or without salt.

The price has gone up a bit recently but about 10-12TL a kilo depending which one you want.

I buy a kilo and cut up into blocks and pop in the freezer. It tastes sooooo much nicer than shop bought butter.

I prefer to buy this here rather than at the markets because in summer it can turn rancid if not kept cool enough.
