Thomas Cook excess baggage!

Have found buried in the Thomas Cook website that excess weight charges are £10 per kilo. Knowing they tried to charge me for 1 kilo over in February at Dalaman make sure you weigh your case!
(nb i removed some to my hand luggage which then caused check in to insist that was weighed also)

I was also charged £10 for my extra kilo out of LBA last Sept.I did really feel that it was petty minded bearing in mind on the return part of our journey, we would be returning with only half the weight.
It also gave cause to look at alternatives and Cyprus/Turkish got our vote for our next trip over in May.

thanks for that Liz they are a good idea at that price.
Let us know how you get on flying KTHY Dave as yes they have a much better luggage allowance. I suspect they dont spend the whole flight trying to sell you everything else they can possibly think of too.
