Excuse me, but I thought it was common knowledge that the beef and other components of the these burgers rarely ever come from the host country.
Of course, as Turkey is very much Islamic, the meat has to be Halal, but this does not preclude the fact that, as in the case of the Middle East, all the beef comes from the UAE. I suspect that this will be the case here as well.
Every Continent will have its primary supplier of burgers, you will note I do not say "beef" as it is merely one componenent of the whole.
Once, when I was in the Sultanate of Oman, in a city called Salalah, I queried the source of my KFC, the manager admitted that most had been flown in from the UAE.
So, don't think that your McDonald beef is local. As "local" goes, this can be anywhere in the world.
