To organise a public protest in Turkey you need permission.

These might be a few examples of what we can do

- fact checking information

- raising awareness by sharing facts in relation to the impact on dolphins in captivity

- using our contacts to gather support from local business to boycott this or use their influence to bring pressure to bear

- persuade people we know it will be bad for business

- identify and coordinate mass emails etc to key people/organisations that have the power to stop this happening

and I am sure there are lots more good ideas out there.

Much of this is already happening but lots of people as I said don't use the forums and want to do something but just don't know what to do or where to start.

thanks Highlander - sorry I meant the link to the Ministry of Ag & Village Affairs.

I posted it now on FB and have urged people to write in

www.tarim.gov.tr as Linda posted

if you have translate then can view in English if you don't the contact details are the 3rd tab (running across the top of the page) from the end Bize Ulasin and the one next to it is for the Press Office (Basin Odasa) and brings up an e mail box.

Hi Nichola, my laptop won't let me send an e mail through this website.  Do you know of the e mail address for the press office without going through the website?
