Not putting your foot in it for me Keith!!  I and many others would be quite prepared to pay to go and watch a dolphin playing, jumping, diving, swimming even if it was in a bay.  If DA's vision could come true and we could go somewhere where the dolphins came to us when they wanted our company HOW MAGICAL WOULD THAT BE?????  The exploitation of the 'Hellhole' is a total NO NO!!!

we swam with dolphins in mexico a few years back......they had been rescued by the most lovely people who nursed them back to health after they had be found poorly following a small oil spill, they used to swim close to where the boats were.....they had them in a small cove adjacent to where it went into the sea and they let them go, but they just kept coming back all the time and just loved people but at the same time had total freedom......just lovely and the way it should be..........

If it is the same place as I think it is they are now teaching them to use i-Pods!  Magical and mystical creatures that should not be in a 'HELLHOLE'.

IS THIS APATHY AT ITS BEST??????

Cheers - how can I be apathetic towards something I didn't see.

indeed rather a sweeping statement I think and one that has rather ruffled my feathers.

Watching G.M.T.V. in the gym this morning and was amazed to hear them saying "Go to our website to see 101 things to do in your life" which was complete with a picture of a girl swimming with Dolphins.  I had a look at their website when I got home and sure enough swmming with Dolphins is  number 11 of 101 things to do this Summer. It's  a pity Helen Worth could not get onto G.M.T.V. and put them right.  Here is the website with the 101 things to do.  http://www.gm.tv/articles/52108-summer-experience-top-rated.html

Here is just one of the several TV reports of the many protest activities that have taken place all around Turkey against Dolphins in Captivity organised by Turkish people inspired by what we have been doing here.

Okyü who came from Istanbul to join us on the Protest march in Hisaronu at her own expense can be seen speaking out in the news report in the following link.

But the point surely is that we are fighting this tiny pool in Hisaronu - I have been asked to remove (and have removed) many dolphin banners served up by Google but some of them look rather brill - the dolphins keep coming in from the big wide ocean to swim with humanoids presumably because they enjoy it.

I don't like to see any negativity in this topic as the combined protest has been magnificent - but if I am honest, I don't have any feelings for saving captive dolphins apart from the two in that concrete bung in Hisaronu. Sorry...
