It's a 3 pin plug that folds flat Baz, for easy transporterisationism.

Saw the Inventor on Breakfast T.V. last week, he got the idea because computer plugs are so big, he thought if you could fold one up it would fit in a Computer bag much easier.

So, rather than make the british system a 2 pin type, like most of the rest of the world, someone comes up with a folding 3pin plug, something like the converter/travel plug we carried on our travels for years!!!!!

How would this be useful anyway - as everything comes with the plug already on it these days? It would only be sellable to new equipment manufacturers.

I was going to say that as well. The other thing is that it has moving parts, moving parts fail, if it is moulded plug then it will be more expensive to replace.


Is it due to be on sale from 1st April:D

When I wanted to charge my car battery I tried to get my extension lead plug through the letterbox but it wouldn't fit :D:D. Now hey presto. No my middle name isn't Lance :D
