Haven't seen the sun for a few days down here. Didn't know it had gone to Scotland on holiday.

The UK weather is more complicated than I traditionally thought. Based on the fact that I knew that it rained more in Manchester than it does in Bedfordshire (where I originated), when considering Scotland as our new base I felt that one big disadvantage would be the amount of rain and dull days. Basically my theory was that the further north you venture in the UK, the more it rains.

I don't know why, but it isn't true. We get far less rain than the North West of England, and far more blue sky days. It's freezing when you venture out but looks almost tropical when looking out the window :D

Nice picture John, unfortunately to achieve the effects you need some cloud in the sky and we haven't had any lately, just blue skies:D:D ;)
