We flew out of Dalaman (to Manchester) a few days ago on Easyjet's first flight out of Dalaman.

What an experience!  A GOOD ONE!!  They were superb.  There were only 26 passengers on the flight, and we paid 30 euros each!  The staff were really happy and friendly, and with one member of staff per 6/7 passengers, they were very attentive and helpful.

Couldn't fault them at all.  We left almost an hour early as all 26 people had checked in.  Food on board was very reasonably priced (for plane food!) and they had Starbucks coffee!

We didn't take cases, just hand luggage.  There was no weight restriction - the hand luggage (one bag per person) just had to fit in the luggage sizer provided by Easyjet.

All in all, an excellent flight.  Well done Easyjet!   :)

Sounds good, but I could never fit all my stuff into hand luggage, the only way round that is to use my husband's allocation as well!!!

We only "popped" over for three nights Jacqui, just to check on our apartment etc (and to escape the kids for a few days!)   :o :)

We have most things we need in our apartment, and so only had minimal bits and pieces to take - though I did get put in the "naughty" book at Dalaman, for having bottles of water in my hand luggage!!   :)

And yes, I still had to use hubby's hand luggage allowance as well as my own!  Why do men take so little when they go on holiday?!!  [:o)]

One pair of underpants and one pair of socks for a weeks holiday take up no room at all as you are already wearing them when you arrive for the flight. Easy. : :)

Dreamon - is that the pair of underpants that lasts three or four days?  (Turn them inside out after the first day, then back and front?)  [xx(]

Hubby wasn't going to take any at all, as he assumed he had some over there!  I made him pack a couple of pairs just in case .......... !!   :-\

This is a great review and posting, it might inspire me to check out Easyjet as the horror stories I had heard made be avoid them att all cost!

I thought the same Kevin, specially after watching the airport tv programme which features Easyjet!  It always looks a shambles, with delayed flights and customers complaining!

We booked them (just for the return flight) as they were so cheap, and I knew I had to be back home before the weekend to attend my friend's wedding.  It was the only flight (at a decent price) that I could find.

We really were genuinely surprised.  I have never seen such happy airline staff!!  They knocked spots off Thomas Cook, who we flew out with (constantly bumping into the side of the seats with trolleys selling over-priced food, then drinks, then fags, then booze, then scratchcards - it went on and on for the whole flight!  And the staff looked like they were hating every minute of their job!)   :)

Easyjet start flying out of Bristol (our local airport) to Dalaman in a couple of months time, and I'll definitely look at flights with them in the future.

Joking apart, did a weekend in glasgow with ryanair, just hand luggage, it was surprising how easy it was, pack properly socks undies in shoes ect and don't forget use cases max size they will take, no weight restriction you just have to be able to put caes in overhead locker without assistance and don't forget all the things you can purchase for pennies in turkey markets and just leave behind when you go, and purchase duty free once air side at airport. :)
