Has anyone flying with Cyprus Turkish Airline been asked to fill in any forms appertaining to Advance Passenger Information?

This is a legal requirment with every airline now we are having to do it with Thomas Cook.

just copied this from my TCX booking (E-Borders information: From 20th January 2010, bookings created that are due to depart the UK from 1st February onwards, please be aware of the following:
For entry to Dalaman, you must provide Advanced Passenger Information between 3 months and 7 days before departure.)

I've just read on the other forum that Cyprus Turkish Airlines do not need you to complete API. A member rang them. I emailed them on Monday but am still waiting for a reply. I also searched their website and can not see anywhere to do it.

Does this mean if you booked your flights before 20th Jan you dont have to do this? We are coming out Friday on flights we booked in October last year and I don't recall seeing anything to fill in when I booked!

The api is a way of processing the info before you travel, the airline you travel with is responsible for obtaining the relevant information. Some are encouraging you to do this online at a specific time before you travel whilst others will do it at check in. If you do not fill it in online they still have a responsibility to process this at the airport. It is just some details off your passport when you check in, which in fact they have already been doing.
