I took my daughter and boyfriend to Liverpool airport airport this morning, came into work and then got a call saying their flight had been cancelled, they are flying to Alicante.
Have paid for them to stay in Hilton tonight, and hopefully they will be able to get flight tomorrow,
bless, they are only going for 4 days to meet the parents! [:(!]e

They have come home now, they can rebook if hey do it within 30 days. It was her boyfriends 21st this week, they were goingout to his parents who had organised a big party for tonight. :(
Best to be safe though.

Oh and before anyone blames all these volcanoes and earthquakes on the sun as I have seen on other places on the web remember the sun was 93 million miles away at the time of the earthquakes & volcano eruption...it's got an airtight alibi. The moon? Not so much :-)
