We are flying out on Monday or at least we were... never mind, better safe than sorry.
And just to lighten the mood heres an Icelandic joke

Britain: Iceland are you crazy?!? Why did you send us volcanic ash ? Our airspace has shut down.
Iceland: What ? That's what you asked for isn't it ?
Britain: NO! We said cash! Cash you dyslexic idiot. CASH!
Iceland: Woooops...

Well we returned tonight from our tour of Irelandshire, and I've never seen more cars (or should I say less space) on the vehicle decks of a car ferry. I guess they got a few late bookings today [:o]

Looking up in the sky this morning in the UK I bet it has been 50 years since they were so empty - not a single vapour trail to be seen.

Gutted!!! Some of my family who live in Australia, and who are in the UK at the moment were supposed to be coming out on Sunday. Have not seen them for over 5 years. They should be coming with my Nan, who I have not seen for 2 years. Got everything crossed at the moment, really, really hope they can get here.

Also quite a lot of folk stuck here, who really need to get back to the UK in time for work on Monday.
