Thomas Cook Update
« on: April 22, 2010, 09:12:17 AM »
Have just spoken to Thomas Cook, after 1/2 hour hanging on and they  advised they have just received instructions this morning that they are indeed uplifting people who have been delayed first AND NOT people booked on scheduled flights.  All this is being organised through the local resort office who can be contacted on 0090 252 612 5753/4. I have spoken to the staff on this number who have advised they are working 24/7 so the phone will always be answered.

Checks must be made with the local resort to see if you are going to be on your scheduled flight or not.  It appears that checking on the website for your scheduled flight wont be sufficient as you may not be allowed on it.

I asked why they didnt have this info on the website as yesterday I was told they were uplifting scheduled flights first then arranging mercy flights for the stranded persons.  She did say she would cascade the info up.
