Has anyone flown with KTHY in the last few weeks? Just wanted to check that the luggage allowance is still 25kg plus 5kg hand baggage. We are due to fly with them in a few weeks and on their website it says luggage allowance for Turkey is 20kg. Thanks.

Hi Molly,  We flew with them in April and it was 25kg then.  
If you check under "services" on the KTHY website and hover over "luggage" it does still say 25kg hold luggage.
I found them quick to respond when I emailed them - maybe try that if you want to be sure.  My e-ticket actually stated 25kg and 5kg hand luggage.
Nice flight by the way - free drink and lunch included.

yes, flew with them a couple of weeks ago - still 25k + 5kg hand luggage.  (and my daughter still went over.....!!!)

Know what you mean Pookie!  One of the "stresses" of planning a holiday is deciding what to take and then worrying the cases will be over......

We actually moved to Turkey on a KTHY one way from Stansted to Dalaman. We were (from memory) 85Kg over. Nice people, they let us off all of it

Hope its 25kg again this year as we have more than the usual holiday stuff as we're attedning a wedding so need extra paraphernalia!

I was behind someone when I flew back 3 weeks ago and she had over 40kg not charged I was 5 kg nio charge.
