That made me chuckle!
What DIDN'T is a review I read on Trip Advisor yesterday. It was about a hotel in Kas, the writers were saying the hotel was lovely, just one complaint, you could hear the call to prayer from the nearby mosque, so they wouldn't be using that hotel again!
How sad, did they not expect to hear it in Turkey? I love hearing it, makes me feel like i'm really on holiday!  :)

I agree, Jenny. Though I don't spend as much time in Turkey as I would like, we did live for two months in the Autumn within a hundred metres of the mosque, and could also hear the the distant calls from the next village. Even though the sounds where I live back in the UK are great - calls of green woodpeckers, canada geese, great tits, blackbirds, and so on - I am still rather missing my "five a day".
