Hi all, random question so I'll get straight to it, I turn 30 this year and Im having a MOD themed party, we're all MODs in our family, anyway, im desperately seeking Vespa/Scooter Cardboard Cutouts to decorate the hall im hiring, but I can not for the life of me find anything. Has anyone seen any anywhere, perhaps in shops on the high street ( i would email them to ask for them!) Your help on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys xx

I know, thanks Stoop, I have been trawling Ebay for weeks looking for anything remotely like that, having no luck, Ive emailed a few of the MOD clothing shops i shop in, to see if they have any ex display to buy but having no luck there either

All the Mod and Vespa stuff is hot property at the moment and the original stuff has made big, big, money at auction.  It would be very difficult to get original old Vespa adverts as all the dealers who sell to collectors will have them. The best place to look is Auction Rooms.  I had  a check for you this morning on a trade site which gives all the Auctions in the U.K.with what they are selling in the next couple of weeks and I have come up with nothing.  There is a sale at Cameo Auctions that have a lot of old film and T.V. From the Angel Prop & T.V. Company, stuff including an original biker jacket from the series Ashes to Ashes however,that is estimated at £200-300.    If you want have have a look through this is the email

Hi Jacqui thanks so much for the information I will have a look on this site now. I dont really need original Vespa adverts etc as we have a lot of that, my dads a collector, I just wanted some cardboard cutouts that shops use in their displays, like Ben Sherman for example, but appreciate that the staff get first pick when they have finished with the displays, I will keep looking, I have 8 weeks yet til my party so hopefully i will find something!
