Parking fines beware
« on: May 26, 2010, 10:26:46 AM »

I have just had a 62tl fine, [:(!] for parking on the road between dolphinless roundabout and and B52 bar, I did not even realise it is no parking, I was lucky a few cars were being towed away and mine was next in line.

It's a dead give away the kerb stones are painted yellow and white.  Approximately 25 metres away from any junction, plus bus stops and any other areas of risk. (Would you believe like pedestrian crossings).

I parked outside the Dawn Beach Hotel no yellow boxes 4 cars were towed away from ouside Interturk, Irish Bar and Marias. The whole of the road is no parking, not just the yellow boxes near the lights. There are clearway signs all down the road.

Blimey, that was quick. The road was full of VIP rent a cars a few days ago.If they were as quick to nab the scooters up and down the front every one with children would be a bit happier

I love parking for free on my 100 cc but will be extra careful to park across the foot path like the locals now  :)
