Don't be taken in by wonderful opening offers....it is what prices are like in a few weeks when it has settled down that will matter.

There is an HSBC ATM in the car park that dispenses TL, Euro's and Pounds which is handy

At least, it saved us from Efes monopoly in Tansas and Migros  :)

That's right Cenk, as I showed you Tesco owned supermarkets sell a bit more than just Efes. Including one of your favourites, "Super Bock" :D

Very strange that the pork shop in Calis sells Tesco bolognaise sauce, but we couldn't find any in Kipa.

If Kipa run the same way as UK Tesco's (proven to be successful), then the offers will last for a 4 week period.
Usually offers are on the gondola ends in the central aisle and then across the bottom gondola ends in the shop.Look for Red and Yellow offer labels as this makes it easier to spot offers in the main shelving.
We still think generally that prices are similar overall to the other supermarkets but there are bargains to be had.
Been in twice and there has only ever been 6 ladies t.shirts on sale plus some swimwear..:(

Must admit to buying 2 cotton T shirts for the wife. They are thinner cotton than in the U.K, but better for the weather here. 8)

Sounds similar to those I bought in Thailand last year - thinner but good quality and good for the warmer climate.

Shopped in both Tansas and Kipa yesterday.  Their Antrikot was 28Tl in comparison with Tansas's 35Tl!!!  Now, we rarely buy it but I began keeping an eye on the prices when I bought some just over a year ago in Tansas.  At that time it was normally 24Tl but was reduced to 17Tl.  SO its a massive hike up to 35Tl!!!!

Anyway, there's a saving if you want to treat yourselves.
