HI Everyone, found this brilliant site by off chance, we have been to chalis twice now and would recomend anyone to go, we stopped at the golden moon and it was great everyone is so friendly and we were surprised that people recognised us from the year before. the food in the restruarants is great i enjoyed the new italian (forgotten name i`m hopeless) has anyone got any ideas where to stay in August 2005 thinking about Golden Moon but if theres anywhere that is small and friendly with a pool then that would be a great help. Also is it expencive to hire private villas or appartments there we fancy that as well. thanks Janet,Cliff.

Hi Janet & welcome to the Forum (madhouse)Try Kaan hotel It's a gorgeous place about 7mins walk from the front, but in a quiet location, nice big pool, lovely rooms, i'm missing it already & i've got my own appartment now, but it's the one thing I miss. Still get a postcard from him at Xmas, which is nice, but as he says we are now his neighbours. Merry Xmas everyone. Alan

Welcome, we go to the Kaan hotel every year, the owners and staff are great.  They look after all the guests as if you are their family.  The pool is fab and the location quiet and relaxing.  Email  me if you want more detials or a brochure.
